Apart Hotel "Rosen" is located in Sofia city in close proximity to the central part of the city, but at the same time in a quiet and calm region, at few minutes` walk of the Presidency and the city center. From the hotel: to Sofia Airport the distance is about 5 km; to Central Railway Station and Central Bus Station the distance is about 3 km. Nearby are situated more of the administrative buildings, embassies and tourist sites. There is convenient city transport to each of the destinations listed above: /buses No 72; 85; 86 and 120, trolley buses No 1; 2 and 4/. In about 3-4 minutes you can reach the metro station "Hadji Dimitar", from where by trains you may walk around almost all the city, to visit Little City Theatre "Off the Channel", "National Ethnographic Museum", "National opera and ballet", Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and many other sights which are worth seeing. At two stops distance by bus No 120 is located one of the largest trade centers - "Serdika Center". At distance of 500-600 meters /about 5 minutes` walk/ of the hotel are many shops, restaurants, pizzerias and other sites for eating and shopping.  Welcome!!!     Welcome also when you decide to spend a weekend for shopping or weekend to see the area of „Independence/Nezavisimost/“ square under the Largo which is with area of 4 850 sq.m. and comprises the area between the existing subways of the East Gate of Serdika Antique City, the central subway with Church of „Sveta Petka Samardzhiska“, the area under the road connection between the boulevards „Knyaz Dondukov“ and „Todor Alexandrov“ and the area under the square in front of Central Department Store (CUM). This area has museum nature and provides the whole conservation of all studied and preserved archeological remains.
